I damaged the top of my finger nail with a cuticle nipper and the layer are like splitting and is there anyway?

to fix it I really scared.Also I used sally hansen hard as nail thing and it kind of work.But is there any other way to fix it.





The damage may like an upside down u on the left side of my finger nail.
