Men with long finger nails?

why do some men (mostly African-American or Asian) let their pinky finger nails grow so long? What do they use them for?Men with long finger nails?
I must say I have always wondered that same thing. I noticed that some of my uncles and a few of my cousins have this situation too. To me it looks like something a pimp would do, or they use it to get the buggers out. But is basically used to sniff powdered cocaine. It least that what it was used for back in the day. I am a woman by the way. Take look at some of those seventies movies and you may see what I am talking about. And no, I have never used drugs.Men with long finger nails?

they use it to help them roll the blunt when they smoke weed. im not kidding.
it generally something that goes unoticed in the people who actuall have the long pinky nails. They basically don't use that finger for anything and the other ones grow as well but get broken during daily task. My nails grow like that all the time, i rarely use my pinky nail and it is longer than the other nails onf both hands. this is in addition to the other answers that you got.
I guess it's just a cultural thing.
