Plop-plop, Fizz-Fizz
Did you know that Alka-seltzer is wonderful for your cuticles and nails? I didn't either until I actually saw a friend of mine, at a nail salon, popping two of the Alka-seltzer tablets in a dish and soaking her nails in them.
Apparently, the fizz and baking soda helps soften and smooth jagged cuticles, making them easier to push back and shape. Be sure to use warm water and soak for at least two minutes, then brush or buff the nail and cuticle lightly with a soft bristled toothbrush or nail brush, then shape your cuticles like you would normally.
Push - Don't Cut
Be sure when shaping your cuticles that you push the cuticle back instead of cutting it. The only time you will need to cut a cuticle is if you have a hangnailed cuticle, that is, a cuticle where a piece of the cuticle has broken off and is sticking up or out from the nail bed.
When this happens, cut only as far back as necessary to remove the hanging part of the cuticle, but do not cut the cuticle itself. This can lead to serious infection, pain, bleeding, and also slow down nail growth.
steps:
Wash your hands with a gentle soap - mild or harsher soaps make your nail brittle.
Dry your hands using a paper towel
Fill a plastic bowl with enough white vinegar to cover your nails.
Soak your nails (one hand at a time) in the white vinegar for 3-5 minutes.
Remove your hands from the white vinegar and dry them off with a paper towel.
Wash your hands with soap and water to remove the smell of the vinegar.
Trim your cuticles with a cuticle remover and file nails if necessary.
Apply two coats of hard nail-nail polish
Leave for 2 hours then add another coat of hard nail-nail polish
make sure you carry hand cream with you and use it now
make sure that your nail polish is not lumpy or thick
if your nails are short try this method if your going to bite them think about what they will look like once you have bitten them
when you go to bite get a peice of gum and chew. You can't bite your nails if you're already chewing!
Repeat this process twice per week for 8-12 weeks.
Refrain from wearing nail polish until you have achieved your desired nail length.
Depending on the person it may take a longer or shorter time to grow the nails out.
things you need:
Cuticle remover
Nail file
Bowl
White vinegar
Chewing or Bubble Gum
hard nail polish
hand creamQuestion about finger nails?
If you don't already start taking vitamins.
And if you do change to the vitamins that someone would take during pregnancy. I did that for a few months and my hair and nails were unbelievable. However if your not pregnant don't take them for to long just until you see the results you want. They wont hurt you they just have extra everything in them that you might not need .
Good Luck
apparently filing them a couple of times a week helps them to grow quicker
push your cuticles back, they actually stop the nail from growing
Just don't clip them.
WEEL YOU SHOULD NEVER CLIP THEM THATS A BIG NO-NO
