Something quite strange I had noticed about finger nails!!?

I had cut my fingernails a few back and accidentally disposed off the clippings in my garden in an atmosphere of damp soil. Sometime later, i noticed the formation of something in the shape of an egg which later developed into the shape of a hand. More like bones. I was quite amused to notice such a change. I tried the same procedure again and the same thing happened. Can anyone brief me about what is happening and how this sort of development can take place.Something quite strange I had noticed about finger nails!!?
well, for one, calcium is inorganic, so incapable of reproduction. if anything grew, it would most likely be a fungus from under your fingernails or just in the soil.Something quite strange I had noticed about finger nails!!?
NO....!!!how the hell do you think that calcium can regenerate itself..!!? How can you make a conclusion that THE ONLY FACTOR which causes that situation is the Calcium? you need to do further experiment to proof that. Besides, Ca is not a living thing.
I think this is a pretty clever idea. I like Sci-fi. Why don't you challenge yourself and go with it. There could be a great short story here!
