When you cut off your finger nails?

when you cut off your finger nails there is a certain point that you must not go over where your finger looks sort of pink on the outside, i just wanna know could i go past this point or do i have to stop, like is the finger nail heavily glued to your finger or does it serve as your skin at that point covering that part of your finger and can i cut some of it off? When you cut off your finger nails?
Why would you want to cut it that far? If you do, you'll be sorry for several days.

The skin is fused to the nail there, where the nail looks pink. That skin is never exposed and does not have the defensive layers that you see all over the rest of your body, it has the nail instead. If you try to separate the nail from the skin, you'll have bleeding, and very intense pain.

That area will continue to be extremely tender and painful until the nail grows back over it, which will take some time. When you cut off your finger nails?
Well first of all cutting your nail that short is not healthy because if you cut off the skin or the pink part, it could get an infection because alot of dirt gets underneath the nail. But if the nail is already coming off, then if you can handle the pain, (trust me it hurts when you have to cut off the nail so close!!) you can cut it off. But not so you chopped half your nail off. If you have any problems then you could probably go see a doctor or whatever and he could do something about it.
well there is a way but why would you want to do that it isnt that painful but it hurts a little there if a little stick and you get it in any kind of manicure set it is to clean under your nails you take it you clean your nail but you keep going back and forth while your doing that just keep pushing down see this seperates your skin from the nail see you nail is normaly white like on top but it sticks to your skin when you are born so it makes iit a pink color but when you seperate the skin it be comes white now this deosnt hurt but it will be sore when you are done

hope this helps
