Fake finger nails??

Everyone that has pretty nails i ask them where they did them and they always say it's the pink and white powder. Not i know that it is clear tips with white powder making them the white tips but my question is; is there a technical term for these that i can ask for??Fake finger nails??
its called acrylic you have to ask for the powder %26amp; liquid form of them if you are trying to do them yourself. your best bet is to go to a nail salon %26amp; have them do it for you first just so you can see first hand how its done. if you dont know what your doing it will be 1 big mess %26amp; have have to work quickly because the acrylic dries then hardens fast. ive been getting my nails fone for 8 yrs and i still havent mastered doing itFake finger nails??

You are talking about ';pink and white acrylics';. They can be done with pink %26amp; white acryl. powder, or white tips with pink acrylic over all. They can also be done with pink %26amp; white gel also. (Few people know how to do them with gel, however.)





I like to get the same effect with pink and white polish. To do this, one must really know how to polish well and use just the right polishes.





If you go to get them done at a salon, ask for pink and white acrylics. They are usually a little more expensive than regular acrylics. If you go to a shop and they want to ';rip'; your acrylics off and replace them every month, find a new manicurist! Some do that to save trouble, but it is too hard on your natural nails.





You may have to try a few technicians before you find one you like. Watch out for unsanitary salons. Make sure your tech. sanitizes her implements after every customer, includng files! Good Luck!!!!

By the way that you are describing it, it sounds like you are talking about acrylic nails. It is called a full set (all 20 nails), but with the white tips...it is called a french manicure. There are other types of nails as well...gel wrap, uv nails, and some others. You can get your acrylics airbrushed with cute designs...decals...or even regular polish...they have SO many colors to chose from. I hope this helps.

Don't know if it there's a technical name..but it's a french manicure. They have white tips that they glue to the tips of your nails and also some other techniques to make the French manicure possible.
